The reason why people get braces young is so that your teeth can become used to that straight position, teeth are fairly new when you are younger making it easier and less painful to move them into the best position. As you grow older your teeth become comfortable where they are, getting braces at a later age make take more time.
No matter who you are, or what you do for a living, you can change your smile with braces. There’s no age limit on who can get them, so having braces as an adult is certainly possible. And there’s no time like the present!
